I'm trying to frame a picture, simple black and white one, and no matter what picture frame I try to use, it doesn't show up in the preview, I get this in the picture frame dialog box...... "frame.....does not contain an alpha channel defining the transparent areas to fill with color." I've never had this happen before. What could cause this? :?

Is the photo on the background layer? Background layers don't support transparency, so you might try promoting it to a layer and see if that helps. There might also be a box to check that says "Keep Transparency". Maybe that needs to be checked? Hard to say without actually seeing it, and I don't recall getting that error before either. I don't have V8 loaded on my computer at the moment, so I can't really test this. You might try going to Help and search on Frame to see if that would give you an answer.

Maybe you need to increase the colors in your black and white photo? Is it only 256 color?
