Can anyone tell me where to find blackline/outline tubes or preset shapes for PSP8? I am  currently looking for Christmas shapes -- bells, bows, trees, etc. -- that I can fill in with patterns and colors.  Or is there a way to promote an image to an outline?

Here is a link to a google image search on christmas shapes.
http://images.google.ca/images?hl=en&q=christmas%20shapes&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi

right click on any of the images on the search page, select open in new tab or window, save as you normally would, to your hard drive. its best to get the ones from the kids pages or printables because they are public domain whereas those from other sites are more then likely copyrighted.
Happy PSPing!

http://psplinks.com/content/Shapes_Downloads.html

That page of links won't last after the new year as the site (psplinks.com) will no longer be available and has already been talked about here in a post from Topsy.

You might also look at dingbats and fonts.  Those are a terrific source for holiday shapes.  There are lots of places on the web where you can get free fonts.  One that I go to most often is http://www.dafont.com Click on the Themes link.  You'll find Holidays there with Christmas.
