Okay, I didn't design it all by myself. I wanted to make a child's chair (okay, for Dot) but was coming up with doo-doo. So I found one on line that appealed to me and used that as my guide. I changed many things but having a template helped me to get the scale. I think the color of the template chair caught my eye more than anything.

Anyway, this is how I spent my day, how about you?

What a great chair. How do you get the cushioned effect Katie?

I arched the seam between the back and the seat, then I used the dodge and burn brush to create shading and highlights--that's it!

Dot's one lucky gal! I like her chair best. Nice, plushy and pretty.
