This is what I do when I'm lost in DAZland...

I have to admit to having Walt's help on getting the lighting just right.  I've done a few others, but they may be to scantily clad for here.

Well done both of you. I am glad you are enjoying Daz.

Did you see the excellent freebie at Daz at the moment? Go to daz3d.com and click on 3d models, then on New Products and Promotions, and finally on Daz 3d bundles. There you will find 3d Bridge Starter Pack, price FREE.  You get quite a collection of models in the pack. There is also a link on the page to d/l the bridge plugin that you need to make them work in Daz Studio.

This link may take you straight to it, but if it doesn't work try the route I described above.

http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/shop/itemdetails/-/?item=5504&cat=614

It says the pack is free till 1/1/2016, but that seems rather a long time to me.

It is well worth having though.

Thanks all.

Carol, I got a great starter pack when I started.  And I have loaded up on content along the way.  I got V4 pro bundle last week.  And today I got the new Aiko 4 free since I'm a platinum member of DAZ.  I have so much stuff now, I don't know what to work with first.  I've just completed 2 levels of tuts (10 each level).  I'm getting ready to find more tuts.  Everytime I do one, there's links to more freebies.  I am on cloud 9 with this.  Today I learned how to pose 2 figures together.

not for gallery...

I know what you mean, Betsy. I am at the stage when I have to search my list of previous purchases in my Daz a/c before I buy anything, to make sure I don't already have it! I have Poser 4 and 6 installed, but Poser 6 lets you access Poser 4's models so you can use everything you have in 6. Yesterday I found an iten in Platinum Club that I feel certain I have, but I can't find it it 4 or 6, it isn't in my list of purchases, and Daz offer me the Platinum Club price instead of the full price they quote if you already have it. And yet I distinctly remember playing with it.  I think I am going senile. Since I can't find it I think I shall have to venture $1.99 and get it. Still while hunting for it I found all sorts of things I had forgotten about, so it's not all bad.

Your two figures are beautifully posed. I am not good at posing, so I use a lot of ready-made poses. Probably I should take a leaf out of your book and do a few tuts.

I know what you mean about the posing Carol.  These were preset couple's poses that I just tweeked a bit.  Although I can, and do, use the power pose.

I have a typewritten list of my content.  When I get new stuff, I add it to the list.  Then when I have too much written on it, I retype it.  And, of course it's saved to my docs.  It's in the same order as the list that pops up while i'm working in the DAZ program.  That way, if I can't find it quickly, I can refer to the larger list.

This looks great Betsy.  Aren't you very organised keeping lists of everything.  My trouble is when I make a list I forget where I put it   LOL.

LOL topsy...

I have the list in a ringbinder that sits on top of the scanner.  Right handy when I need it.  I am married to the master of organization.  Took me most of the last 38 years to catch up to him.  ha ha ha...
