The smugglers are landing their cargo. They must have accomplices on shore because there is a mule being loaded with bales - do they conceal expensive silks? There must be a cart nearby, because they have also brought barrels of wine and brandy which have to be hurried away before the excisemen find them. The ship is fully alert too. There are lookouts on the stern and in the crows nest on the front mast. There are crewmen high in the rigging on the other two masts, so the ship can move away fast if the king's troops appear or naval ships come over the horizon.

Vue 6 Pro Studio image. The ship, ship's boat, barrels, bundles and men are Poser models imported as objects. The ship and props are by Faveral, and the poses are by Don Albert, to be used with the ship crew. The mule is the Daz millennium horse, morphed into a mule and imported into Vue.

Thanks, Margaret. That is Vue's marine sky, so most of my ship scenes share the same sky because it goes so well with the sea, which reflects the sky, so you can get peculiar looking sea if you don't choose the sky carefully.

Things like the milennium horse come with built in morphs. You turn a dial to get a thoroughbred, a dray horse, an arab, a mule etc.  Then there are more morphs for things like  length of mane and tail, feathers on the feet on or off, whether the horse is a stallion, a gelding, or a mare,  fit or emaciated, shod or not, etc. etc. Normally I just do the morphs without mentioning it, but saying the mule was the Daz millennium horse looked a bit odd without mentioning the morphs.
