It looks good, Graham, but I do have have some questions/suggestions.

Do you always work at 300 resolution?

Why don't you use vector text? That way you could use Objects>Align>Center in Canvas. I just think it's easier.

Maybe you should mention that you can change the amount of mesh points and that you click the check mark to set the warp or the X to start over from the beginning.

Also I think you should mention holding down Shift will move all the points in a straight line and holding down Alt will give a curve.

Thanks for the suggestions Nanson, all are good points,

Do you always work at 300 resolution?Yes most of the time

Why don't you use vector text? That way you could use Objects>Align>Center in Canvas. I just think it's easier.I think using vector text could be a tutorial in it's own right, and I just want a quick intro to the warp mesh tool.

Maybe you should mention that you can change the amount of mesh points and that you click the check mark to set the warp or the X to start over from the beginning. As above, quick intro, you know jump in and in two minutes you've achieved a result. After that play around and see what happens when you click other things.

Also I think you should mention holding down Shift will move all the points in a straight line and holding down Alt will give a curve. And holdig down Ctrl will curve all the points on a line, this is valid and I have now added a reference to it in the tutorial.

Oops, sorry that's a typo on my part, not Alt it's Ctrl as you said.

Becky,
Glad that the tut gave you an insight in to the Mesh warp tool, and I like the result with the rose.

Goofygrmom,
You're right,   It's a lotta fun. If you use an image and make the grid size smaller you can make some interesting images.

iluvtolaff,
It's not just for text, try it with an image as I did. Take a look at PlusPlace. ;)

Yes, I saw that tut also. Here's my shot at your tut. I wanted to make my 'name' into the shape of a smile (since 'I luv to laff'). This is the result...........

I couldn't get the text to curve more, it's like the nodes wouldn't move any further.

Now, this time I used a tut that showed how to move the letters individually and I like this one better. But, I still have fun with Graham's tut. ;)

Ok, Graham, I've tried every tut I can find for 'Text on a curve' and I cannot duplicate what you did! My text is either upside down or across the top of the circle (I want it across the bottom to curve into a smile). I am so frustrated! Help me please?! :pu:

Thanks Graham for putting up this simple tutorial on the Mesh Warp tool. I was at a complete loss over this tool, but your tutorial has made it so easy to understand.

Being farily new to PSP, I do appreciate a tutorial that is easy to understand.

I just joined  Plus PSP today.  I must see if I can find a tutorial on using the Mesh Warp tool on an image too.

Many thanks,  lillie

Lots of fun happening here. I must try your tut Graham. That's a tool I hardly use. Thanks.
