Thanks for that Donna. I thought it would be better in the Hard as Nails forum and then it won't get deleted.

Thanks for moving it, Margaret, but does everyone that frequent the Challenge Board come here? I don't check here very often, so I'll go back and add a post to my challenge post with the link in it too.

Sharon, I'm glad you found the Manual Color Correction, sorry for not pointing that out.

Thanks to the rest of you for your comments. :)

Cool tut, Donna.  Thanks for doing it.

At least someone is in here during the night to check on the site dog and cat.  (**)_ _%_  Sometimes they need to go out.

Help!! I downloaded Donna's preset and unzipped it into my 'Presets' Folder. But, when I went to use it, I get this......

"This script has attempted an operation that is not permitted in a restricted script. This script may be run by moving it to a trusted directory"

So! Now what?

It wouldn't work for me either but I didn't get that message. It is in my Presets but when I click on Balla and bubbles it doesn't show. I'm using 8 so I think that might be why.

The preset is for PSP X and the file should be unzipped and placed into the "Presets" folder.  I just used it and created a new image 600 x 600 and then added a new layer and on the new layer applied the Artistic effect, balls and bubbles and when the dialog box came up I chose from the top preset area the db-stainless preset listed.  It worked fine for me!

I'm not sure why that is happening ladies. I'll take some screenshots of the settings and perhaps you can use those and then save the preset that way. I'll work on the screenshots. Sorry for your trouble.

Ok, hope someone comes along to tell us why the zipped preset wouldn't work in earlier versions. In the meantime, it will be a little time consuming for you, but here are the screenshots of each tabbed setting. Pay attention to the colors and every part of the settings to see what is checked and/or unchecked.

That's what I use, too. It showed in the preset drop-down, but I got that message when I tried to use it.

I had to go on line and check to see if 7 and 8 had Balls and Bubbles, I knew 9 did -- the zip file I would think should have worked.

Balls and bubbles was added in 8.  I guess there is some sort of clash with X when three of us were able to add it to our preset folder successfully, but then found it won't open.

Thanks Donna for you patience in doing this for us.  I will have a play with this later.

THANK YOU DONNA!! Thanks so much for doing all the Screen shots! It worked great! I had trouble because I kept forgetting the fourth light! My bowl was greenish. Smile.

Once I saw where I went wrong, it worked like a charm!

I have saved Presets before and they worked. They were always for 8.1 though. I'm sure that's the problem and not your Preset.

Glad the screenshots were helpful. I'll see if I can figure out about the backward compatible B & B presets.

I have X2, so the preset worked ok for me, except where I had to change the surface map.

Information: this preset is for PSP X and will not run in previous versions of PSP.

To makes presets work in previous versions, download and unzip the file.  Open Wordpad or Notepad browse to the preset and open it.

On the top line you will see        from PSPApp import *

change this to read    from JascApp import*

Then save.

You can then save it in your preset folder.

Don't think I have suddenly got clever LOL   SuzShook was kind enough to tell me how to do this, bless her.

What an easy workaround! Thanks for inquring about that and for posting the info here. I'll have to file that info away... now if only I can remember where I file it! :)
