Colored Glass Vase Tut  Rate Topic

This tutorial is written for PSPX.



Download the following:  http://graphic-and-arts-by-elle.com/PSPX/colored-glass-vase/Preset_BallsAndBubbles_Elena-colored-glass.PspScript and save it to your PRESET folder.

http://graphic-and-arts-by-elle.com/PSPX/colored-glass-vase/Selections.zip and save it to you Selections Folder.

Open a canvas 500x500 transparent.   Effect/artistic effects/ balls and bubbles and choose Elenacolored glass preset. Click OK

Click on selections/ load selection from disk and choose the vase mouth.  Adjust brightness and contrast to -38, contras 0.

Click on selections/ load selection from  disk and choose the vase body.  Cut and paste as a new image.

       

 

Make the vase selected. Effects/ 3D effects/ cutout. Settings:  Vertical 2, Horizontal 1, Opacity 50, Blur 68. Fill interior uncheck.  Shadow color=#96063f.  Finish.

Please note: Elena has posted the preset in another post here.

Unfortunately, as with Donna's bowl tut, this preset will not work in earlier versions of PSP as it was made in PSP X.  However there is a way round this.  See my message under Elena's preset post.

Great tutorial, thanks.

I should mention that I only got the Pink vase by putting a check in the "Fill interior" box. Unchecking it only gave me a transparant vase with Pink edges.
