GUIDELINES FOR POSTING ON THE 3D FORUM

The purpose of this Forum is to provide a platform for people to help each other to develop their skills with 3D graphics programs. Although many of our participants at PlusPSP use Paint Shop Pro for art work, we hope they will branch out into other programs and genres and expand their graphics life. PlusPSP encourages us to stretch ourselves and try new things.

Questions, links, and images are welcome on the forum. The 3D render can have its "post work" done in any art program. We will want to know what program you used to do your 3D when you post an image.

Please post your images as jpg or gif and limit the file size to 80 K if you want your image to be considered for the Monthly Gallery award. These images will be collected once a month to be included in the Plus Place Monthly award. The only image that will remain in a permanent place on PlusPSP is a winning image. When naming your images, please include your user name. (That's the name you post under, that we all know you by.)

About 3D tutorials: Post any newly done tutorial in Hard as Nails, please, and let us know at 3D that it has been posted there. Any previously written tutorials that are meant to be of help to the 3D forum participants can be posted and linked from this 3D forum.

Constructive remarks/suggestions are welcome to help the participants. It will be a learning place as well as a place to present images. So, when you post there, you must be willing to hear suggestions. There must be no flaming or insults. Again, the Moderator will delete any postings which break this rule. Remember that friendship and a desire to help each other must prevail at all times.

As with all the +PSP forums, to post an image in a message you must first upload it to your own server. If your server allows hot linking, then put the URL for the image in the IMAGE URL box below the message box. If your server does not allow hot linking, put the image URL in the LINK URL box, and its title in the LINK TITLE box. The title is vital - without it your link will be invisible. Some servers will not allow you to link directly to an image filename at all. In that case, prepare a page which displays your image and upload that with the image to your server. Put the URL for the page in the LINK URL box, and the image title in the LINK TITLE box.
