Michel was born in the family château in France in the 1950's and he is now in the process of moving back to Johannesburg, in South Africa. The in-between years were spent in various countries with schooling being in different languages.

Michel's background is in law and marketing but his real love is in computers. He gave up law because he did not like the 15 hour days and went into computers where he now has 20 hour days!

He ventured into computers by accident in the mid 1970's with the Apple IIe and became hooked into the future potential - with the arrival of the first PC's, the IBM XT (he had the 99th production machine) he started writing commercial applications for his friends and business associates. He wrote some of the early word processors, editors, disassemblers, decompilers, productivity tools etc.

In the early 1990's he wrote some telecommunications software which became the backbone of the call reorigination industry - international calls at 80% discounts on the legal country carriers - that got him into trouble with the law in South Africa but he perservered and the industry has now brought the "official" prices down to the level of the reoriginators! Basically he completed a cycle and worked himself out of a job.

His interests include wine, cooking, world affairs, chess, backgammon, reading and travel. One of his favourite authors is the infamous Jeffrey Archer. In his travels he is helped with his 4 languages and to date he has visited over 40 countries on 4 continents - he has not yet been to South America! His favourite holiday destination is one of the tiny islands in The Maldives archipelago, a holiday island paradise in the northern Indian Ocean.

At PlusPSP Michel looks after the software that keeps the machine well oiled...
